Alex Garland is at the directing helm for the recently revealed Elden Ring movie, and he’s been rather busy with the game. He’s on his seventh playthrough.
Speaking to IGN, Garland shares his thoughts on some of the tougher enemies he’s faced in the game. Rahdan was no trouble at all, according to Garland, but Malenia has been his toughest challenge.
We all know how tough the boss fights can be in Elden Ring and Garland knows you have to persevere, adding, “It’s not that you get better, it’s more like monkeys and typewriters. You just keep doing it, and eventually, one day they’re dead.”
Garland goes on to share some tips on defeating Radahn, which he had no problem with, but what he doesn’t talk about in the interview is the movie itself. We are still none the wiser as to who or what will appear in the movie when it eventually releases. Still, good to see a director getting to know his subject matter.
